OISD Address and engage society in initiatives and research with universities to secure sustainable economic development, businesses, and jobs needed to secure the conditions for democracy, peace, and humanity!

The first line of government of the society that makes up the economy of Canada and the rest of our western democracies’ political economic government system is local and regional municipal government!

Hence, sustainable economic development, business, jobs and quality of life are closely connected to the local and regional government of economies, and so often the key to improvement rather than Victoria or even Ottawa.

BE INVOLVED!

Adhering to the following Principles:

  • OISD focuses on strategic socio-economic and ecological issues facing society.
  • OISD is non-political and non-partisan.
  • OISD addresses issues, systems and behavior, not personalities and individuals.
  • OISD publishes only under the name of the Institute.
  • OISD maintains the privacy of members, contributors and benefactors.
  • OISD welcomes ideas, input and editorial that meets the above criteria.
